Petechiae – Mayo Clinic

Petechiae are pinpoint, round places that seem on the pores and skin as a final result of bleeding. The bleeding triggers the petechiae to seem purple, brown or purple. Petechiae (puh-TEE-kee-ee) normally seem in clusters and may glance like a rash. Usually flat to the contact, petechiae will not drop coloration when you push on them. Often they seem on the inner surfaces of the mouth or the eyelids.
